Why did you choose Skin Therapy as a career?
My first introduction to esthetics was when my son was struggling with acne during his teen years. As a mother it was devastating to see your child’s self-worth suffer and I was willing to do whatever it took to help him clear it up. Unfortunately, even after a visit to both a dermatology office and an esthetician, he was left with temporary results.
What’s your favorite service?
Every opportunity I have to create a change in someone’s skin – acne, acne scarring, reverse signs of aging/pigmentation – and see how their eyes light up the moment they see change….that’s always my absolute favorite no matter what the service it is.
What would your clients be surprised to learn about you?
I love clearing acne so much, even from a young age I’ve been known to pin down friends who need extractions! Also, I was born in Las Vegas, NV and have always loved the sun. It was my sister who taught me how to care for my sun-loving skin, which has now morphed into a passionate & fulfilling career in advanced skin care!
About Amelia, Owner + Skin Therapist, Laser Tech and Medical Micro Pigmentation Artist
Why did you choose this as a career?
I’m a licensed Cosmetologist and began hands-on skincare in 2016. My passion for lasers started in 2018 with hair lasers and have advanced my education to also include laser tattoo removal, which dovetails perfectly with my Medical Micropigmentation training.
What is your favorite service & why?
I don’t think I can choose! But if I had to pick, I’d say Brow Micro Shading. I have a passion for the beauty industry and an eye for detail, which makes me obsessive about perfection in my work. Every year I update my skill sets and skin knowledge by taking Advanced and Master training courses so that I’m contributing to the high standards and values of our client care.
What would your clients be surprised to learn about you?
I was a cheerleading, horseback riding, hockey player in middle school. What’s the theme? I love working as a team!
About Cassie, P.A., Dermal Injector
Cassandra Sallee, P.A.- Cassandra joined the Cosmetic Surgery Center of Ardmore with Dr. Harry Galoob, M.D where she performs aesthetic procedures and assists in surgery. She is a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant of 16 years and has additional training and certification for dermal fillers and neurotoxins. Cassandra graduated from the University of Oklahoma Physician Assistant Program in 2001 and has lived in South Central Oklahoma for 15 years. She currently works at Clear Skin Solutions as their resident Dermal Injector.
Why did you choose being a Physician’s Assistant as a career?
I have always had an interest in cosmetic/aesthetic medicine. Then, a few years ago I had the opportunity to work in the field. I found that I truly love it.
What’s your favorite service and why?
Dermal fillers, because there is an instant result and our clients walk out glowing from the treatment. But as a PA, I was surprised at how much I didn’t know and understand about skincare – what I was taught in PA school should not be the standard. Nyki has given me a whole new level of skin education. I love how passionate the Clear Skin Team are about what they do!
What is something clients would be surprised to know about you?
I am very crafty – I love to sew and quilt! I am also the handyman around my house and I live to building projects.
Dr. Galoob
Dr. Galoob is our Medical Director at Clear Skin Solutions as our overseeing physician. Dr. Galoob is Board Certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Liposuction Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.
About Brandi, Registered Nurse
Meet registered nurse Brandi Brown!
As our newest team member here a Clear Skin Solutions, we couldn’t be more thrilled to have Brandi onboard.
Brandi has always had the dream of helping others in any way she can and is why she became an RN. She says, “It gives me great pleasure to help put smiles on people’s faces and help them feel better about themselves, inside and out. If I can help just one person, then I have fulfilled my purpose”.
Brandi has 16 years of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery experience under Dr. Harry Galoob, our medical director here at Clear Skin Solutions. She has a Bachelor’s in Biology and Chemistry and is a practicing surgical nurse at the Cosmetic Surgery Center of Ardmore. She has completed injectables training at @injectabilitybeauty in California and is working under Cassie here at CSS; IPL laser training under Michele De Leon; advanced skin training under Nyki Dobson, the co-founder and lead esthetician at CSS; and hair laser and HIFU training under Amelia Dobson, our co-founder and one of our talented Skin Therapists.
