Why do we love cosmetic tattooing?

Because waking up with your eyeliner, brows & lip color already done and in perfect place every day makes for an easy morning, every morning! Cosmetic Tattooing, also known as semi-permanent makeup, enhances your natural appearance without needing any application of cosmetics.

Cosmetic Tattooing is ideal when you have…

– A busy life and find makeup application & removal a chore
– Poor eyesight or watery eyes
– Unsteady hands
– Want to correct physical flaws like over-tweezed eyebrows, eyebrow scars, pale and unevenly coloured lips, or eyes with little definition
– Traditional makeup isn’t lasting all day
– Allergies or irritation to makeup
– Had cancer treatments & lost your brow hairs

Cosmetic Tattooing FAQ’s

How long does Cosmetic Tattooing last?

If you’re familiar with decorative body art tattoos, that type of ink is deposited into subcutaneous (fat) tissue of the skin making it permanent but fading over time into blue/green tones that are challenging to cover.

Cosmetic tattoos, on the other hand, is pigment (semi-permanent ink) implanted into the dermis – the second layer of the skin. Semi permanent ink placed at this depth creates space for color to fade more naturally and be touched up more easily and allows for changes in shape and color.

We’ll touch up your Cosmetic Tattoo immediately after healing, and recommend yearly “refreshes” to touch up your color. However, if you leave your refresh longer than 1 year, you will be required to pay a higher fee.

Microblading is the semi-permanent application of pigment to the eyebrows using a blade to scrape across the skin in hair–like strokes. Cosmetic Tattooing is the application of semi-permanent pigment to the dermal layer of the skin using a tattoo machine. This causes less trauma to the skin and provides a more refined hair stroke. Cosmetic Tattooing is also ideal of any skin type, whereas Microblading is not recommended for oily skin types because the ink molecules travel due to the larger surface area of the blade compared to a tattoo needle.

No, you’ll need to remove your lash extensions one week before your tattoo appointment to avoid the risk of infection. Please wait 2 weeks after your tattoo to apply your lash extensions.
